Pipe-bending collets
Collets are used in almost all bending tools. They are used to grip and guide the tube during bending in the various rotation sequences of the tube itself.
In some cases, the collets are equipped with a special guide and carry out an active action on tube-bending (booster system), which is used where applications are particularly difficult to perform.

A tool with different types of finish
The collets are configured as tools with various types of finish:
– EDM high roughness;
– Longitudinal grooving (to ensure a better grip in the rotation of long and heavy pipes);
– Pyramid finish (it is the type of finish that can give the maximum possible grip);
– Smooth.
Depending on needs, therefore, it is possible to opt for a different degree of finish, in line with the finishing level desired.

In particular cases, when the level of the difficulty is high, the collet may also perform an active action on the bending. It must, however, be accompanied by an appropriate guide system, capable of performing a control function.
